Home
I am home. My feverish dreams, plaguing me for a year, have gone. More quickly then I thought. In their wake lies a damaged nervous system, a fatigued body, heavy from stress and anguish. The kind of pain only brought about by seeing the world’s darkest secrets daily. I know suffering. I know it intimately. But in knowing such sorrow, I’ve learned my heart can only bare so much.
There is suffering everywhere, it’s a natural order that cannot be permanently solved, fixed, or eradicated. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it just is. However, as a people we can give support to challenges. We can seek to help heal others to ease the pain and withering that happens to our souls as we endure suffering. I’m not fighting it anymore, where I lived, I became consumed by it.
I need the trees. I need the mountains. I need to hear the birds call out the worlds name. I need to be one with the experience of living unimpeded by the conventions of humanity. What natural orders were before our self-imposition of meaning, are the ones crucial to keep our spirit alive. To keep our ancestry alive. We are born into this world with amnesia, and the mystic ways we gain belief and clarity are being rinsed away. The tethers to our emotions and the other worlds are thinning. They will not die, they will come full circle, because of those brave enough to do what is in their heart.
I do what is in my heart, even when it doesn’t align with the selfish vision of my life I want to manifest specifically. I miss so many surprises when I am that preoccupied. I won’t let my simple nature be suffocated by the complexity of this manufactured world.
So I am home. Back in the mountains. Back in the Trees. Back to the birds, calling out the worlds name.
